Dunc was an honest nutter though, a punch in the plums, a headbutt, there was no snide pinching of skin whilst calling a player a negro, or diving on the deck feigning serious injury trying to get someone sent off. I'd be embarrassed by Suarez if he was one of ours, there's the difference mate.

The links to Arsenal & Chelsea are spurious imo. The former could be trying to bring the Suarez situation to a head, as I could easily see their move for Higuain resting on Madrid securing a replacement, it's far too left field a signing for Wenger, this has to be contrived.

Not so sure myself mate.

Wenger in his prime was a genius imo, but the pack caught him up. His in depth analysis was copied, his worldwide youth scouting was mirrored & his teams playing style was tactically exposed at times.

He's a stubborn old goat, which is his greatest failing imo & it's taken him a few years to accept that he needs to change his recruitment policy somewhat. Pushed on by the Russian it appears this summer is the window he spends big, it remains to be seen if he spends well......
