I never realized this but to buy a ticket for a home game at anfield for games until Christmas, you have to buy in July.

That would do my head in. Normally I'd just buy tickets the week of the game

1. How do they know they'll have a home game?
2. How can you buy a ticket for a game 6 months away?

Went to Haydock on Saturday with 6 reds and a Chelsea fan.

Had a mental debate with them on the way home, gave it to them with gusto.

Their theory goes something like this -

When Liverpool finish above Everton - they are the better side.

When Everton finish above Liverpool - they are still the better side.

Had a £100 bet on us finishing above them again with one of them, and also £100 that they will not finish in the top 4.

I think you'll break even on that bet. I think they'll finish above us this year, but they won't finish in the top four.
