The fact that they are even in the running tells you a lot about the FA and how frightened they are of giving decisions against them.

They escape yellow cards for straight red offences and are allowed to swear at the referee constantly.

The way the whole fair play thing is judged is so subjective it is a joke.

There's a possibility. It might come to nothing.

In december england were one of the three 'most fair' leagues in europe and so got an extra place. I don't know if that's still true or not. And as of 8 games ago liverpool were second to arsenal in the english fair play league. Again that might have changed, though.

It will be a sour pill to swallow if they make it. They don't strike me as an overly clean team. Granted, we can get stuck in too.

That being said, I can't think of any prem team who don't get stuck in when needed so they're as good a choice as any I suppose ("Bite Gate" aside, and that was just one player to fair)

We might have a shot next year if we offload Pienaar and Felli

why? they played out two 0-0's in the most dour two legged final of all time. even the linesman got so bored that he didn't want another half an hour so he gave a goal he clearly wasn't certain on

I assume the reason why was one won the league, and one won the CL (apparently).

For the record he prefers Rugby Union as a sport, and he may have a brother you sports a Man United shirt (I can't remember, merely a vague memory).

There are a fair few people by me who freely admit that LFC was their team in the 80's, but not loyally support Man United. Think they might be glory hunters but can't be certain
