What the premier league and uefa eventually want is to have a system where they have every club in the top leagues fighting either for the title, europe, or relegation. Literally only one club had a nothing season, everyone else gained something or lost something out of the season.

That will probably happen tbf but the club really need to show some ambition and be ruthless. Even The conference league would do me good.
