Tbf Wijnaldum was referencing, amongst other abuse, the racial abuse he received via social media to which Spitty has told him to pipe down or delete the app.

I dont think I said they were bigger. Historically Liverpool are bigger than all 3, but over the last 20 years or whatever those 3 have all had a lot more success than Liverpool.

Yes I'm not sure there was any racial element to it, because let's be honest the best players on their team are black and mixed-race, and it would be stupid to insult them. Wijnaldum did get a lot of (perhaps undeserved) flak from what I saw on Twitter and Facebook, especially in that period when the RS lost a load of games. He seemed to be singled out in a way other players weren't.

Juventus have first dibs on him and it will be at a lot cheaper price than the £86 million bids that have just gone in for him this week.

English clubs missed the boat on him, he was scoring for fun at Fiorentina and was gettable for €30 million, then Juve swooped in on a 2 year loan and will probably have an agreement for a price contractually around that fee after the loan ends next summer.

Fiorentina will be gutted now, his stock has risen after the Euros and they will get no where near £86 million.

So it's all just a big coincidence that black footballers are targeted on social media then? You have learnt literally nothing of the past few months about their experiences, and why they are taking the knee, have you?

Given you seem completely oblivious to racism and you seem to think Wijnaldum could have deserved the abuse, I'm going to guess you support a racist club, so are a Kopite?

And yes it would be stupid to abuse your own legendary players. But racists tend to be quite stupid, illogical and hateful people. This is especially so for Kopites, who seem to have a pathological hatred for black players (see Evra, Holgate etc).
