ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

90 million for a fullback who's broke the record 3 times this season for giving the ball away, they love all this over hype for a player , when contracts need reviewing the player will want the wages to go with the hype, hopefully in 3 years their weekly wages will look like this.
Salah 600,000
Mane 599,999
Firmino 500,000
Trent 750,000
Henderson 1,.200,000
Milner 150,000
Robertson 300kg of smack
Van dyke 3.500000

There is a major rock and hard place when players believe their own hype. Liverpool will hope a few of them are taken down a peg or two by their individual performances this season; but footballers very very unlikely to show humility, especially when it comes to contract negotiations.

They have an insane amount of players with two years left now & the next few months will be pivitol for them in terms of agreements. I believe Van Dijk and Fabinho have agreed new contracts, but they have left themselves on the edge of an Arsenal style cliff of free transfers.

Separately - The "Giving the ball away" stat is an absolute red herring. KDB has given the ball away the most over the last three years.

But KDB also has an insane amount of assists and goals. Not to mention taking games by the scruff of the neck and at times winning them single handed.
Not even a remote comparison to be fair.
