ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I didn’t realise but Klopps ma died the other day. Jokes aside my condolences to him and his family. Those interviews after the game today he’s probably thinking why am I even sat here
I believe that she died a few weeks back but the story broke this week, allegedly, to deflect from his disgraceful treatment of a reporter last week. If he was thinking what you suggest then why did he bang on about VAR like a cryarse?

They might look to Nagelsmann - although whether Nagelsmann would want to follow Klopp is another matter.

That's the smart thing to do isn't it? You go and find the next up and coming- probably German coach. Tuchel would have been ideal (he actually did a good repair job after Klopp's mess at Dortmund). Nagelsman would also be a good selection though. He would be young enoygh to allow for what is likely to be a 3-4 year transition period where they re-balance the books.

Liverpool is a different kettle of fish on that score, and he would outmanoeuvre FSG amongst the fans, the media and the commentariat.
This all day long, and is why I think they’ll give him a wide bert, when it all starts going belly up he’ll play the blame game, and all the blame would be put onto FSG, as in ”not my fault gov the board never backed me ” and FSG can’t win that game.

Quoted as £9m per week wasn't it?

I believe that was over the summer when everything shut down. You will probably see that reflected in 100m ish losses in the next accounts. The bigger hit will be this year (published next years) figures. I don't think theya re now losing 9million a year, but think the Mail ran the other day they are losing millions each week.

Thats before potential loss of reveue of CL, sponsor downgrades etc etc. All with a wage bill bigger than Cities. Good luck lads.

Tuchel: he's a contentious character. I doubt FSG would have entertained him.

Reading elsewhere that there were major kick offs in the Liverpool dressing room yesterday and that the team are basically at each others throats: Robertson v Allison; Henderson v Thaigo etc. Factions had formed and are now hardened.

Klopp walked out on them and didn't travel on the team bus.

Tragedy for us if so. We need them like this for a long time to come.
