ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

‘NORWEGIAN and proud events such as Boss Nights and The Anfield Wrap’s live shows. The scenes in Madrid’s Plaza Felipe II square ahead of the 2019 Champions League final have gone down in history. Class act aren't they
Unfurling a banner of a black man with a huge penis too.

Proper communal atmosphere...like in Arkansas on Klan Rally Night.

That is intent to damage Pickford's ankle and clearly going over the top of the ball.

Of course, he gets away with that because the Kopite media make a song and dance of Pickford making contact with Van Dijk.
With all respect Dave, pickers foot is much higher than truck lesbians is. If anyone is out of control there, it is our Jord.

I totally agree with this. We should stop with this nonsense about Pickford nobbling Van Dijk. The intent to injure was from Van Dijk. He did it to himself.

It was just a freak collision. If anyone seriously thinks that in that moment the ball was in the air Pickford thought ‘I know, I’ll pretend to go for the ball but really just try and clatter Van Dijk risking giving a penalty away and getting sent off because I’d quite like to ruin his career and their season’. Of course he didn’t, he just threw himself at a loose ball about to be turned into the net. He could have been red carded for it because he missed the ball, but the media’s constant and continuous depiction of this as a ‘horror challenge’ is ridiculous. Challenges which are premiditated full of rage like Keane on Haaland or Nolan on Anichebe are horror tackles. Pickford and Van Dijk was an unfortunate collision. Unfortunate for Van Dijk but he’s injured a lot of players himself in his career and he’d already thrown around two completely unecessary challenges at the start of that match which were intended to put James and Allan out of the match.

Which bit, mate? You think we have enough squad depth?
More than you might think we also have a manager who can change the way we play to pick up points, with key players missing.we might not get top 4 however i fancy our chances more than the shoite, whos manager plays hoofball runs his preferred 11 into the ground cos hes a clueless 1 trick pony and doesnt know how to do anything else. I reckon theyre not making top 4. Recent weeks we played and beaten chelsea ,arsenal leicester. Weve had our fair share of players out through injuries and suspension richarlison digne james allan to name a few and weve taken 15 points from 6 matches. Compared to that shower who have taken 6 points from 6 games and not a goal scored in the league in 4.owners who wont entertain the idea of spending, a couple of players out a couple not an injury crisis as gets made out by the media.yet people are saying theyre finishing second. In my opinion theyre finishing below us and i doubt were winning it.

I wish I could agree, but them lot just keep coming.

Win tonight and it is a much healthier scenario.

No, it's what comes first. Van Dijk is closer to the ball and is going over the top of it; Pickford takes evasive action if anything. He's the player later to that ball and has to adjust to a studs up situation.

At the very worst it;s a six of one and half a dozen of the other situation, but IMO this is a collision initiiated by Van Dijk.

Van Dyke has previous for studs up tackles that are meant to hurt opposition players. He has executed such tackles on a regular basis and got away with it by the officials. On this occassion he came worst. If you look at where Pickfords leg / shin is in that photo it could have been seriously nasty.
No chance of the media ever doing a frame by frame analysis as it simply does not suit the SKY / PL & media agenda.

It was the CIA, Cuban Exiles, the Mob, the Russians, and I saw smoke coming from the grassy knoll.
an assasination of the queen would get less coverage. The dutchman on the pitch tried to show them whos the man with malice and intent. I find it really amusing that calamity keeper who they laughed at and mocked when he dropped the ball in the derby made a simple empty headed typical pickford clanger and hurt the dirty rat and hurt that lot on the process.

Agree with this he was at it in the derby before he went off injured. Hes a dirty rat who got his comeuppance.Karma bit him on the jacksie.
