We certainly have more than just a manger and one player with quality to challenge them lot and the rest, in terms of 1st 11.

We certainly don't have the squad but I think it is not far fetched to say that we have a chance to be in the mix.

I know, as an Evertonian, it is the hope that kills us but even if we fall a bit this season I think that we are strong enough to get a Europa League place, which will hopefully attract a few more players of better quality. It is about the building process and there is a minority of reasons to feel so glum.

Yeh, I am normally very optimistic in life, but this is Everton we are talking about. Talk of us being contenders when we have Davies, Gylf,Gomes starting often, Richie on a bad run of form, Mason starting at RB often and Iwobi who cannot cross all in our first 15. We really are lacking depth.
I know some of those players have been better of late, and I actually rate them more than most, but we are up against some very good squads and I fear, depth of quality will win the day.

But, yes, Kopites are indeed Gob******

Without fans we lost to West Ham at home, Leeds at home and struggled past Rotherham. You could also argue that if more fans were allowed in the cup game then maybe we would have beaten Man Utd in the quarter final of the carabao cup.

Please let this be true. We've had to put up with them lording it over us for nigh on 50 years. We briefly came out of their vile shadow in the mid-80s but they ruined that as well.
I'm happy with them getting relegated, becoming lower-table fodder like us under Walter or just being liquidated to b@ggery. Obviously the last one is the most preferable.
They can start some new team if they want in the North West Counties. See how many iPad waving Norwegians or Malaysians come along to a soggy Wednesday evening at Bootle or Cammell Lairds.

It’s funny that our squad has no depth in so many positions yet we have our fifth choice centreback out on loan at Blackburn who would probably be starting every game for Liverpool now.
