ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It’s on Klopp to turn it around isn’t it? I thought he had all these world class players? The only one that’s missing is Van Dijk, and in the short term their backup striker. I thought he had the best keeper in the world, the best right back, the best leftback, the best creative midfielder, the best defensive midfielder, the best box to box midfielder, the best front three in world football? All of these players are still fit.

If Klopp really is the best manager in the world, why can’t he just cover the loss of one single player and get those others playing decent football? Guardiola Solskjaer Ancelotti have all arrested slumps this season, even Scott Parker has managed it. If he can’t turn this around what does that say about Klopp? At the moment though he seems to be more intent on blaming everyone else (as are the fans).

FSG will not take kindly to having the finger pointed at them when Klopp was the one who sold all their youth players plus Lovren to buy Thiago and Jota. They invested more than any other team has in the history of football in a single year when they bought Van Dijk Allison Keita Fabinho Oxlade Chamberlain. That’s about 280 million in a single calendar year. They’ve propped up wages for Allison Van Dijk Henderson and the front three at eye watering levels. I think they’d expect that any half decent manager could get a tune out of the players at his disposal.

He can put out this team.

Allison

TAA Matip Fabinho Robertson

Henderson

Thiago Wijnaldum

Salah Firmino Mane

Why is he moaning about injuries? I’d kill for Everton to be able to put their best line up out most weeks only missing one player. We’ve had any three or four of Allan Gbamin Digne James Richarlison missing most games this season.
Add to that, I'm sure Carlo is advocating behind the scenes how important it would be to invest in a forward if it's possible.

But hey, there's constraints and limitations, which he arguably understands, so there's no benefit showing the dirty laundry in public. Same with injuries too.

Dignity goes a long way and Klopp has repeatedly shown that he's lacking in that department.

Whilst elated I am still miffed that Pope didn't jump up and welly the ball for a glorious rub your rs nose in it goal after Alice had run up and down the pitch 4 times.

Also did I hear the commentar refer to winaldum as wynal ?

And finally. 0-1 or not that ref was terrible.he tried his hardest to give them a break. And 4 minutes at the end but play 5?
Look at the ref (liverpool fan pretending to be a tranmere fan) at the end of the game he was gutted.

Carlo is brilliant at this. He handles the media so well. He never criticises the club, never calls out individual players, never makes a controversial statement on anything. If you’re a club owner he must be an absolute dream. He’s probably enjoying working in a stable environment where everyone is just grateful he’s there rather than some of the clubs he was at when he’d get fired if he didn’t win every trophy.

Nice that they're back at OT for the 10th anniversary (thereabouts) of their criminal damage spree there when they smashed the East Stand toilets up causing thousands of pounds damage and assailing the lower tier Utd fans with missiles. Lets hope Herr Klopp restrains his growing incendiary anger and disintegrating behaviour at least pitch side. Best perhaps if OT puts a bouncer on the Dressing Room kharzis just to be on the safe side.

why do the insist on claiming that having no fans in the stadium has made them lose form? No team has any fans in the ground.

I think they can improve but this is tough now as so many teams have hit form around them. Salah is deffo got a gob on and long may it continue. Klopp ripping into the owners is just stupid. If the form continues for a few more games they will have no chance in the league. So fingers crossed.

I think we need to stop laughing at them though. VAR has been against them since day one. The amount of times it has clearly changed games is truly shocking and I am stunned that the media are staying silent on the matter. They have had biceps and even a hair extension stopping them win games by being called offside by the pathetic VAR. The ball in one game was so far over the line that it was actually in Stanley Park. How VAR could not see the Arriva double decker trip Mane as he was performing Swan Lake is beyond me. It is unfair and it is wrong to laugh at them while every other team is clearly cheating......... Forgive my post but I have just read a few pages of the VAR (huh, yeah, What is it good for? Nothing) thread on RAWK and I got carried away. Takes a deep breath, 1 and a 2 and a 3 . haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

And Ancelotti jas had to work with no fullbacks this season. We have had to work with no CF this season. Yet there's no drama, he looks to find a solution (as in fairness Klopp has done to this point).

From the outside, it looks to me like Klopp is working himself into a fury, to absolutely nobody's benefit. He seems to have taken himself out of his comfort zone.

Of all the excuses it's the most ridiculous. Their famous Anfield atmosphere is a myth. The edginess of the crowd would have likely heightened expectations and pressure and been a problem for them. Away games would have been harder too, as for once they'd have had to contend with the pressure United have had to deal with for 30 years, or to a degree City/Chelsea have in recent times.

They seem genuinely baffled and annoyed at sides playing defensively against them. They are fortunate it's taken this long for sides to adopt such a game plan.

Correct.. he has his hoof and rush style but took it to another level compared to what the PL had seen before and executed it perfectly. It took other teams time to figure out how to defend it but it's obvious now that that has happened.
How many times have we seen a promoted team come up and do well and get a top half finish only to get relegated the following year. They get figured out quickly. Klopp would appear not to have a plan B... if plan A is not working let's stick to plan A...
They've gone from Heavy Metal football to East Listening.

Rock bottom? Finished 2nd the year before he rocked up didn’t they?
Its the narrative they like to put out,the St Pauli of England, the rags to riches story, the bestest fans, its all crap, the about as far away from a socialist club you could get, they have spent billions but you would think it was built from a Sunday league team, the bestest fans who have never known hard times,in 2005 they were staying away from games and calling for the FSW head, shower of gobshites
