ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The sheer desperation in this thread to get the league void is borderline embarrassing, hiding behind Covid 19 , when frankly you couldn’t care less you just don’t want Liverpool to win the league

guaranteed if the roles was reversed no Everton fan alive would want the season void

The same people hiding their true intentions behind this virus and deaths will be the same people in Two years time singing song about how Liverpool lost the league because of Covid

You wasn’t thinking about people dying when posting daft memes and made up 4/5 weeks ago

yes before the Sherlocks on this site say it I am a red , thank god

and all this Liverpool are in financial trouble crap is fine , we will be fine with the kids that knocked you out the fa cup

when we win the league , and we will , it’s bring millions into this city’s economy god knows it needs it right now

enjoy your day ...

Mate no offence but I’m starting to question your Everton credentials.

Oh Paul, they are massively rattled at present. I think my predicting they were the club losing 9 million a year, which has been proven to be true has caused serious levels of bedwetting. David Maddocks, who is a very favourable journalists to LIverpool (and Everton) has even now written articles saying they are skint with no money. It's obviously causing them untold anger.

As for the "kids" who knocked us out. I mean the age difference in age gap was smaller than the previous derby match. Minamino, Lallana, Origi,Milner, Adrian, Phillips etc etc all played. I don't think there was a single player on a youth contract playing. It was a good win for them, mainly because we didn't take any of the 5 clear cut chances in the first half and typically bottled the 2nd, but if that reserve team is put out every week, you are heading for relegation. You only play us twice a season.

I don't think it will get as drastic as having to play your FA Cup Team. I just think you will have to sell one or 2 key players, which as long as FSG don't panic should keep you competitive at the top end of the league. You're going to have massive amounts of debt added to the hundreds of millions though, and those days of buying trophies by blowing Manchester City out of the water on wages and fees will now be gone. I suspect you follow the trajectory of Arsenal.

But anyway, try not to get too angry. I know the truth is painful, and I do only try to put it on here for you, so you have advanced warning before the bed wetting and pathetic phoney hard man acts all over the internet can be reigned in a little bit when the disappointment occurs.

Try not to get too angry and obsessed about whats written on here. It's not good for your health.

Nope loads have said give yous the title. I'd give it to you so you all pipe down and give it a rest. No one would ever view it as a real title.

Theres no way of finishing the league in a safe and fair manner. In what world is it safe for say Villa to get relegated after dropping points in one of their home games staged at say an empty Emirates, in a game where everyone is running around in masks?

We cant wait forever because contracts are a major problem. This season is over and everyone knows it. The only reasonable decision is to end this season and start preparing for a new one to start in the autumn.
Disagree, the rs are acting like spoilt entitled little brats.
You don't give into that type of behaviour, now is the time for lessons to be learnt.

Regardless of what happens this season they’re still extremely well placed for next year. City are coming towards the end of a great team with Aguero and Fernandinho year old and Silva leaving. Kompany hasn’t been replaced and if Laporte is injured that back line is terrible. They still haven’t got a single decent fullback despite 100s of millions being spent. They’ve got class in midfield with De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva but Pep seems to prefer playing combinations of Gundogan and Rodri who aren’t at the same level. Sane seems to be on his way out, and that leaves Sterling, Aguero and Jesus as their attackers with Mahrez inconsistent.

Even if Liverpool didn’t buy anyone, if they keep the same 11 together and don’t get an serious injuries (and continue to profit from VAR and their blatant doping) then they’ll probably win it again as the rest of the top 6 look completely hopeless.

This is probably true as well. City are really on the decline. I think Pep has made some bad decisions (not to sign a CB but keep buying fullbacks was one). Not converting Walker seemed another. I actually think LIverpool are on the same trajectory but probably a year behind, issues such as injuries really hit City but I don't see them coming back massively strongly. They would hope to sign someone like a Koulibaly that sorts their defence out.

As for Liverpool, they are growing older as a squad. Mane is 28, Salah will be 28 when the season starts, Firmino 29, VVD 29, Alisson 29 I think. Essentially most of their players are now getting to their late 20's. Spurs didn't replenish their quad and fell back a bit. I think the players they've brought in who are under 25 have realy struggled, Origi, Chamberlain, Minamino, Keita. All have flopped.
