ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Step out of your UK bubble. They are becoming massive globally. The fall of Utd is helping as well. This is bad timing as India and large parts of China are up for grabs and with the Nike deal (which includes the likes of Lebron James, Drake and Serena Williams promoting them worldwide) they will continue to get bigger in America and in the lucrative Far East. Bad. Very bad indeed!
I still wouldn’t want to be one of them, what about you?

The super League will happen one day.

People want to see the likes of Barca united Madrid city juve psg etc compete every year not once every few years.

The world club cup next year is a 2 week competition with 3 games worth 50m just for participating and 100m to the winner.

The money made would for a super League would be astronomical.

The super league will never happen, EVER.

And utter LOL at thinking the winner gets 100m next year.

The talk is of £40m-50m just to take part, with a prize fund on top. That will further widen the gulf between rich and poor in Europe, but elsewhere, even if clubs from other confederations get less, the distortion will be seismic.

It might, but it will fail. The top European teams win their domestic leagues often. Or are at least in contention.

When only one can win a Super Duper Euro league. Then folk will get bored. And Leicester would never come close; the greatest footballing story for decades would never happen.
There would never be one winner if every team had world class players, also financially they would be able to buy all of the best players.

If financially they earn twice or 3 times as much in a super League playing less games then it's a no brainer.

What of you got banned from playing in the Super League for murdering 39 of your opponents fans though ?

Could you then go back to your old league and pretend it never happened ?

I wonder if the fans having to spend a fortune travelling to watch all these games would be taken into consideration.

The talk.

Ok mate.

I can assure you a European Super League will never happen.
