our 1980s team would wipe the floor with this current Liverpool side
In here please mate: https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/hopes-for-a-tossed-salad-for-liverpool-fc.109179/Little bit from the Guardian about their fitness guy:
'Klopp has admired Kornmayer’s work at Bayern for several years, albeit reluctantly as he believes their fitness levels were a factor in Heynckes’s team winning the treble at his Borussia Dortmund squad’s expense in 2013.
“Don’t forget,” the Liverpool manager said this year, “the 2013 treble-winning team of Bayern was unbelievably strong and they had all their players fit until the end.”

Maybe that's why they so fit. I have to say we are coming across not in the best light. First it was VAR, now doping
Have a bad feeling that this is just the start. Don't think they'll pull off 3 titles in a row or anything but think out of their next 4 seasons, they'll likely pull off one or two more. I can certainty see them getting to 21 titles before Utd do.

I watched a few classic matches from the 80s recently including the 84 cup final and a couple of arsenal and spurs matches, and the pace of the game was so noticeably slower.our 1980s team would wipe the floor with this current Liverpool side
Depends what your looking for and whether you want to find it.I'd love to know what this fella does so differently to the rest of the fitness coaches for the top clubs in Europe
The look as fit now as they did at game one which is confusing as they very rarely rotate the squad, Every other side in the league has looked tired at some point yet they carry on like they've hardly played a game
Again not accusing them of doping because that doesn't sound logical to me, surely the prem has loads of drugs testing

Klopp is having a good whinge about the "threat" of a 3rd round replay. Isn't he confident about thrashing us at Anfield on Sunday? Interesting![]()

Bricking it too much to try an ale house. Might actually bump into scousers.Lad on talk sport saying anfield has best atmosphere in the world and the fans usually get in the stadium 5 hours before kick off to get the atmosphere going. Then said, well at least 3 hours from personal experience. What is wrong with these people???
Can imagine the kop being packed at 10am on a Saturday morning. All practicing waving their scarves and learning the words to their ditties.Bricking it too much to try an ale house. Might actually bump into scousers.

Cant see it. They are the experts at thatThey are a brilliant side to be sure but that doesn't mean they are unbeatable. Most teams give up when the first goal goes in.
I can't see that happening with us - especially with Ancelotti pulling the strings.
We'll [Poor language removed] murder them.
