ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Yes, they do.

Liverpool have played 30 games this season in all competitions (excluding the League Cup one with the kids).

Only 2 players have appeared in all of them. Robertson (28 starts, 2 sub apps) and Firmino (25 starts, 5 sub apps).

Van Dijk has played in 29 (29 starts, 0 sub apps) Alexander-Arnold has played in 29 (25 starts, 4 sub apps).

Mane has played in 28 (25 starts, 3 sub apps). Salah has played in 27 (27 starts, 0 sub apps). Henderson has played in 27 (24 starts, 3 sub apps)

Outside of Robertson, Alexander-Arnold and Van Dijk, who appear to be at peak physical fitness, the rest of their squad have all had, at the very least, 3 or 4 games off.
They used less players than other teams in the PL over xmas especially their rivals, you can remove the context all you want as you always do because you are a gigantic clueless bulb whose opinion should be ignored on all matters

For reference, Man City have 7 players who have made 25 or more appearances this season, Liverpool have 10 (and one of them was Origi making his 25th appearance last night off the bench)

It's not uncommon amongst the best athletes.

As always, you argue the poster, not the point.

as always you continue to talk out of context, it's not hard to see past you, it's why you get ignored so often on here now. After such a strong start of deliberately antagonizing people you have over played your peado supporting hand, good day fruitloop...

Wow - you know loads about them! Well done!

Why did you even bother to look it up?

Because the argument between several posters appeared to be that they play the same players over and over again without getting injuries - and whether the statistics bore that out.

They have the 3rd highest number of players injured in the league, so their schedule is certainly taking it's toll, and looking at the number of apps - the bulk of their team have had 4 or 5 games rest, at the very least.

Important to look at the numbers when you're disputing these things.

But you are defending them! There is a thread for that here: https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/hopes-for-a-tossed-salad-for-liverpool-fc.109179/unread

Read the last 3 or 4 pages mate, there was a sizeable discussion on this subject, I'm simply providing the numbers, interpret them how you will.
I did and this thread is for slating them/taking the P out of them/generally showing dislike for them - not defending them, whether what you posted is true or not, it doesn't matter. As i said there is another thread for defending them.

Little bit from the Guardian about their fitness guy:

'Klopp has admired Kornmayer’s work at Bayern for several years, albeit reluctantly as he believes their fitness levels were a factor in Heynckes’s team winning the treble at his Borussia Dortmund squad’s expense in 2013.

“Don’t forget,” the Liverpool manager said this year, “the 2013 treble-winning team of Bayern was unbelievably strong and they had all their players fit until the end.”

---------

Maybe that's why they so fit. I have to say we are coming across not in the best light. First it was VAR, now doping

Have a bad feeling that this is just the start. Don't think they'll pull off 3 titles in a row or anything but think out of their next 4 seasons, they'll likely pull off one or two more. I can certainty see them getting to 21 titles before Utd do.

I'd love to know what this fella does so differently to the rest of the fitness coaches for the top clubs in Europe

The look as fit now as they did at game one which is confusing as they very rarely rotate the squad, Every other side in the league has looked tired at some point yet they carry on like they've hardly played a game

Again not accusing them of doping because that doesn't sound logical to me, surely the prem has loads of drugs testing
