ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I remember Howard Kendall winning the double, almost the treble with a 15 man squad, playing 42 league games a year and probably going on benders for the majority of the week

It amazes how professional athletes, with nutritionists, best physios and conditioning coaches struggle to play two games a week

If they win one more game they'll break the record for best start of the season in any league.

High intensity pressing and running for 90 minutes with barely any changes to the lineup. No major injuries. Going to Qatar and back didn't effect them.

It's absurd.

I'm sure it's just as simple as that they've got the best fitness team of any team in the history of sport. *looks directly at the camera

Their opponents were probably going on the same type of benders. The motto in football then was "Win or lose, on the booze".

I'd love to see our mid eighties side with the benefit of modern conditioning, diet & fitness.

Must have been on drugs.

Winning is a drug, no tired legs when you keep winning.

Frankly, just hoping to steer clear of the zone, that’s how bad things have got, despite the presence of our latest incumbent. The likes of Sheffield reverting to form can only bode well for us.

Will right off this season and look ahead to twelve months from now, when hopefully Ancelotti’s influence and the right targets (his by the way, not Brands’) will have made a significant difference. Hopefully.
