When fans where singing lost the league at goodison park. I thought to myself good I hope that doesn't come back to bite us. Looked it up the other day and hopefully should be ok

Actually it does now I look at it again, I looked it up before their match with Leicester, and city lost to wolves. It's going to be close

They have 19 games left, 11 take them up to and including Goodison leaving 8 to play after so they need to be 25 points clear after they play us in order to be crowned champs. They'd need to be 28 clear before they play us which would result in us being asked to give a guard of honour. Don't think its a law that you have to do so but you know we'd get a hell of a lot of bad press if we did.

They're 13 clear now with a game in hand against West Ham so you gotta assume they'll win that meaning in 10 games they need to gain 9/8 points on Leicester/Man city in that time span. If they carry on as they are it's possible but will Leicester and City drop that many points in those games?

So it's possible they could win it either before or at Goodison but if they do start dropping points and Leicester and City keep up the pace as they are it should take them a few more games after they play us.

I'd agree to a guard of dishonour. All players and crowd turning their backs on them, giving them the middle fingers like the Juve fans did at Anfield.

So confirmed then, VAR brought in for them to win the league
They would only be 6 points ahead without it.
Hopefully this year will be chalked from history once their PED abuse comes out.
