ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

All of this is true. I'll add a couple more points. The USM stable are said to have increased wealth by £7bn in recent weeks. In essence they can buy and store oil, or be paid huge amounts of money to store oil, as they will have the infastructure to sit on it. They will wait it out and sell it on when prices recover. The Russian state may well be actively paying them to store it.

We know the estimated wealth of the 3 is much lower than their actual wealth (widely reported in Forbes etc). I don't know how deep it goes, and I doubt many people will never know how deep it goes.

The big point in this, is that if they were really bothered about making a return quickly, they can't turn that Richarlinson bid down. They go to the table, round it up to £100m+ and sell to resolve the books. The fact they chose not to again says to me, they are quite prepared for the longer game.

I have suspicions of what it may be. However they will not be massively concerned about the club losing money that they can fix.

I mean Chelsea owe 1 billion. If thats called in they go must immediately. It wont be though, so they are fine.

Its the image factor as well...they are doing this for their USM branding (totally uneccessary for their investment group)...

...but from a personal perspective you get the feeling that they want to squash Arsenal and be around the top of the leaderboard.

These guys arent used to losing and want to show they are the best.

Its all rosy for us.

We are far more reliant on TV money than them. Sky wanting money back will affect us far more than them.

What you seem to be willingly ignoring is that we made a £112m loss before corona they made a massive profit. We also have a Stadium to finance they don't.

And yet only one of these clubs laid off it's non-football staff to have he tab picked up by you and I.
