They're losing Konate for free, Senesi is leaving Bournemouth for free and has agreed to join Spurs, yet he'd surely have followed Iraola to Liverpool to fill Konate's place.

From the outside they always seemed to be a club who had a solid behind the scenes structure, did business early and didn’t mess about.

Last summer and now they look all over the place. Lost their way and long may it continue and worsen.

I reckon Alonso knows how lucky he was to escape from the cult when he played.
