ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Sure they had a 10 or 12 point lead earlier in the season, now 17 points behind arsenal, a 29 point swing
Whatever you do, don’t share that stat with Sean Dyche or he will use it to show what a great job he is doing versus the league champions.

“I don’t like to mention I beat them 3-0 at Anfield and when I came here we were 2 points out of safety and now we are six points ahead”

All said whilst he is wiping his own snot all over his face and talking about Brian Clough.

Probably will appeal it but doubt it will get turned over.

Well, it shouldn't anyway
Bizarre end and reffing.

1. He plays advantage lets the goal stand and red cards the magyar muppet.
Or
2. VAR judges an earlier foul by Haaland therefore magyar's foul is when the play has been retrospectively stopped by VAR. Therefore, technically the most he could have been red carded for was ungentlemanly conduct as, retrospectively, VARs ruling means it wasn't a goal scoring opportunity.

The lunatics have truly taken over the varsylum.

Technically, the decision is correct in the sense he played advantage and then Haaland committed a foul, before it went in, so the advantage stops.

But everyone with a slither of footballing knowledge knows the goal should have just stood, and Slobberdog could have even stayed on the pitch.

I’ve only just stopped laughing. Brilliant end to the game and a proper VAR no-win paradox for them so even they couldn’t escape its icy grasp.

Either they concede a goal and lose 1-3, or keep it 1-2 with zero time left anyway and have a player sent off. Take your pick, everyone else is happy either way.

Be moaning about how thin their squad is for Wednesday now. Already complaining Sunderland have had a day extra rest.

Everton don’t you dare

Funny to here about there thread bare squad, probably not a great idea to spend 250m on two players if you lack depth
