If he was that good Liverpool would have kept him or at the very least, Aston Villa would have taken the option to sign him. For me he is vastly overrated living on being a Liverpool player, he must be good and thus a huge premium goes on any transfer fee, the list of failed Liverpool" big things" goes on. Also living on the fact he had a very good under 21's tournament, can't take that away from him. But from what I have seen of him he's never really stood out anywhere, even when he played for Villa earlier this season, he hardly touched the ball and if he did treated it like a hot potato. Unai Emery ain't soft he saw right away.

I think Villa have been very fair and straight.
They've effectively said he's crap and we aren't wasting our money

Dont get me wrong harvey elliot is no world beater but whats actually happend to his career? I would of thought he would of ended up being prem level fulham or someone like that other kopite they have atm

Said I think he's decent, not a world beater. As you said, had a good U21s but maybe hasnt progressed, doesnt mean he isnt a decent player. Just my opinion like.

Yeah like I said has not really got any outstanding attributes, no really quick, skilfull or doesn't score enough goals of even make them. Wonder if he can play Darts ?

Kopites will absolutely love that admission, almost admire Slot for his honesty, I knew they should have spent over a billion ! But I don't know about anyone else, but I strongly feel they are incredibly lucky to be 4th, their actual football deserves lower midtable if I'm honest.
