ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Salah always has had an absolutely massive ego. All the weird professional holiday photos by himself and taking his shirt off every time he scored v Man U was just really weird. The. The whole sitting on a throne on the pitch. Bloke is just an ego maniac, always has been.

There’s also something in that fanbase that you can’t worship these players like they’re some sort of religious deity and then get annoyed when they start think they’re bigger than the club.

They're a cult, while part of cult you're worshipped. If you leave, or you go against them, they turn on you. They are deluded hypocrites, TAA chooses to leave, he's considered a traitor. Isak does same thing, yet cult support him. Cult conveniently forget only reason Gerrard stayed was because of threats to his family. Plus Gerrards incredibly weird behaviour, plus him and his wife's dodgy connections are largely ignored. Suarez was perfect when at RS, a cheat when he left. Salah has held RS to ransom before, he was never anything other than a mercenary. Just like Jamie Webster raised in suburbs of West Derby, is portrayed as a working class hero. Anyone would think he was an ex docker from Bootle, the way he goes on. Just like they assume they're everyone's 2nd club, when everyone hates them.
