Today… The death of Diogo Jota, the empty peg in the Liverpool dressing room and the raw, immeasurable impact grief and trauma will be having on Arne Slot and his squad. 'You have to find ways to manage. Next game, next game...'

The poor lad died in July, before the season started and they quickly climbed to the top of the table. Evidently this grief and trauma had no effect…
