Slots whining isn’t about improving the standard and consistency of refereeing in the PL and it’s not about any kind of redress for that game, they got smashed.

It’s about their next games and the pressure it piles onto the refs and VAR assistants officiating those games so that any 50/50 decisions go their way.

I think that is the correct wording. It is not unreasonable to see it as offside. Interfering with play can be seen as very subjective. Some will agree and some will disagree.

Ours against Spurs was the same. I don't think it is unreasonable to see that a decision was to be made and unfortunately the ref saw it as affecting the keeper. What confused me about that one was the ref mentioning Grealish in the decision when he was nowhere near the keeper, the ball or any line of sight.

Robertson being in line with the balls trajectory surely constitutes a decision to be made. They are all making out that he wasn't even on the pitch at the time.

It was the same as our disallowed goal against Man Utd. Player on the line has to get out of the way so the ball can go in. Keeper probably won't get there but can't dive that way because of player on the line so ref disallows it.

End of the day the best analogy I've heard about the goal, was if Robertson didn't duck out of the way of the ball, the ball would have hit him and he's then classed as offside, so he interfered / was involved with play the moment he ducked.
