As our illiustrious neighbours are goading Isak into putting in a transfer request, instead of It's Out Of My Hands Eddie McFly nodding away like the Churchill dog, Newcastle should be telling Isak any request will be refused, you're not being sold to anybody regardless of what they offer and if you refuse to train or play you won't be paid and you'll be dropped for the season.

Some club, somewhere, has got to make a stance against this madness. Why not the horse punchers? Who was that big Geordie bully who used to own them? Wor someone or other? Made Ken Bates at Chelsea look like Mother Teresa. He would love this with Isak.

It's not just Isak, the tail has got to stop wagging the dog especially when you get no-mark players being 'offered' here, there and everywhere and they'll only leave for CL football.

I suppose the only hope is that klopp built a team and team spirit and you’ve got to mesh this new lot together both in terms of football but also the dynamics.

We’ve all seen teams built and look a lot more impressive than they actually end up being .

I suspect they’ll win the title but if not I think they’ll finish about 4th rather than 2nd simply because they’ve not gelled . If that makes any kind of sense .

There's some deep copism in here lads. Isak is absolutely world class, worth every penny in todays market. The squad is superb, multiple options everywhere. They've just won the league and sold a few players for a lot of money, their PSR is fine. Are they hypocrites? Maybe. But itd be weird if they didn't spend to try win the Champions League. They're in a different league to our problems, they're not even on my radar these days.
