Clear at the top of the league and fretting, Cracks are starting.

Let's face it, they haven't had a struggle since the 1950's. Even in the relatively bad times under Souness and Evans they won the FA Cup and League Cup. If they ever had a couple of years in the bottom half the ground would be empty and they would all be in a loony bin as they wouldn't be able to accept not having constant success and everything always falling their way.

Not taking the FA cup seriously has backfired.

Back in the 80's and before all teams took every competition seriously and you were only allowed 1 sub so massive squads weren't a thing. They thought they'd steamroll Plymouth and then their rested players would beat us easily. Then struggled against Wolves and Villa.

Half decent teams need to get at these. They would be struggling for top 4 without Salah, refs and penalties.

Stones is massively injury prone and tbf to Haaland barely moves most of the time unless it's laid on a plate.
