Its pure jealousy. The penny has actually dropped that the Royal Blue Mersey is being graced by the first thing the cruise ships and liners see having passed through The Mersey Bar....our brand spanking new home. God knows what way the RS eejits will react when they see it lighting up the gateway to our iconic waterfront at night.

Of course as well, all this achieved without a Compulsory Purchase Order on peoples beloved homes...not an old aged pensioner being held to ransom and more or less evicted from houses lived in by generations of the same families. With no shame.

I don't like to think about how I'd feel if they built a stadium like ours on the waterfront.

I went in in the train on Tuesday and some bitter Kopite dad actually encouraged his daughter (about 5 years old) to boo as we passed. I smirked to myself at how much he was hurting
