My bad mood this morning has been made immeasurably worse just listening to that ungracious manager of theirs.
Fancy blaming the opposition for not playing in such a manner that would allow his team to beat them.

Pearce drinking from the waterhole of delusion yet again. Masterclass or not, Athletico turned it round after soaking up everything the RS threw at them, then upped the ante via speed and skill. Their superstar strikers let them down, especially greedy Salah, their Fort Knox defence was picked apart with alarming ease in extra time and, albeit he cocked up, their goalie was the convenient patsy for their disintegration. Pearce should have a swig of that truth drug rather than targeting Simeone.

They really like to play for corners and crosses a lot don't they.

I've never seen crosses used in a stats comparison until after last night's game. Who would have thought hoof all merchants like Liverpool would have attempted more crosses than a proper team like athletico who like to keep the ball on the ground.

if you ever think that some of our fans are too critical of our team then take a look at the scarlet nosed chaps over the road when they have been beaten like this and think hey we're not so bad
