Das Beaut doesn't seriously expect or probably even want the Spurs to be re-played. He's said what he has to purely create a story therefore pressure officials into giving them every debatable decision in the future, or risk being deluged by their zealot fanbase.

Pretend he never said anything, you're letting him win otherwise.

In all honesty, he didn't 'demand' it be replayed, as one paper said, but there was never this level of intensity before VAR. I mean, we never never made a fuss about about Clive Thomas and Pierluigi Colinni robbing us, did we?

OK we did, but not to this level. Remember, in those days it was just blind referees - now it's the blind leading the blind.

It's the lasting trauma of the injustice that bothers me.

I don't think they should have to play Spurs again. Just give them 6 points every season and a bye if they're drawn together in the cup.

He’s more offside than Lukaku was in the Carabao Cup final when he scored the winner. Sadly that didn’t comply with the ‘unprecedented quadruple’ media agenda at the time so they just drew an invented line from a bit of air he was pointing at three yards in front of himself and called it offside.

Considering that in both this image and the other one you can't actually see the ball then there's enough doubt to go with the onfield decision anyway.

Can't believe how a marginal offside against them has blown up so much compared to other VAR mess ups. Oh actually, it's them so I can.

I actually don’t blame the liverpool fans for this. Every set of fans would be fuming if that went against them on Saturday,
However every other set of fans would quickly be fobbed of with quotes like “ all evens itself out” or “swings and roundabouts”. The media is enabling this lot though.

Lads listen. He was onside, we look as stupid as Klopp trying to make him offside in here. Can we not just accept that every official in the country needs sacking and calls to replay the match are equivalent to when you’re 8 years old and save your FIFA game before every match in case you lose?
