No player is worth £111m but when you’re desperate and got the likes of Carragher and Neville on the overlap basically saying they need to sign him, they’ve put all their eggs in one basket and panicked. Liverpool need him a lot more than what Chelsea need him. If he’s having second thoughts about the move and turns it down, Chelsea might swoop in and get him for less.
