As a United fan i can remember many visits to anfield especially 79 cup replay at goodison every coach got smashed after the game mainly because we won 1-0 , i remember 86 and the gas cannister welcome to the United team , and i think many occasions human stools thrown at Anfield in cup games early 2000s , now United fans were not paragons of virtue far from it , but this mob are lauded like the best fans ever nothing could be further from reality and the truth
