ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I’m a Kopite for pulling you up for an outburst that‘s an embarrassment to our Club? ?. Get a grip, it’s a game of footy after all, mentioning Nazis, murderers, vermin. Then you have the temerity to sat THEY can’t but class. Your an embarrassment to this great clubs fan base. Take rivalry to a rather nasty level.
We will always have more class than your murdering turd of a club.

Our history is untarnished and unstained unlike murderpools - our glory will never be denigrated.

Get back to Rawk you bellend.

Agreed. We always will……or should. Just ’fans’ like you that take the ‘rivallty’ too far ruin what class we do have. Laugh at them, take the mickey but there’s such a nasty undercurrent it becomes a competition of who can be most hateful or nasty on here. Carry on with the Kopite jibes all you want. I’m not, although my brother & my 2 sons are. I’m just a decent human being. Unlike some.

Didn’t the homegrown players influence early days of European cup. Seem to remember only so many foreign players could be in the squad
Off the top of my head I seem to remember them getting knocked out by sides like Galatasaray, Monaco, Bayer Leverkusen & a couple more. This was when they had top class foreign players like Schmeichel & Cantona in their side along with the class of 92. Well over half their side back then was in the 'world-class' bracket, & Ferguson was always in the front of the queue with his chequebook when a good player became available. Keane, Rooney, & Ferdinand are just a few examples. For me, considering how dominant they were in England, they never got anywhere near to doing it against European opposition. They had the quality to do what Barcelona did when they won it 4 times in 8 years, but it never materialised out there on the pitch.

isn't this the point that is trying to be made, even a top side had off days?

For a consistent few seasons now two sides, (one of whom have many average players before they play for them who turn into world beaters when they are there, and then plummet to bang average when they leave), rip up the league with hardly a falter. The only fly in this PED ointment was when the world was suddenly subjected to new testing regimes for covid that they were worried could have shown up their new PEDs so off cycled and form collapsed.

The quality across Europe was a lot better then than it now tbf to SAF & Utd.

Is terrorist-money-laundering cash morally superior to petro-dollar money? Asking for a friend.
