Proof that the CL is the most overhyped competition of all time. Only PSG may cause problems out of that lot. How anyone can rate it above the week-to-week grind of a gruelling Premier League campaign is beyond me. Then again, we know exactly why they do it.

I'm a rednose, LFC overrun everyone in midfield, the key to beating them is making it difficult in the last quarter of the pitch. My sigh of relief when the third goal was gifted must mean Everton were doing it well...
Incidentally, I watched it on Spanish TV, where they made sure viewers knew about EFCs history, most seasons in the top flight etc.
Would be nice if this were the case on Sky etc, this idea of a team who were the dominant force on Merseyside for 80 years being a "small" Club is ridiculous, and not helped by the obsession with the so called big boys

PSG are like Spring Lambs by the time the knockouts come as they are undercooked from the farmer's League with half a division of league 2 stature outfits, they'll be slaughtered by the English teams and Bayern with ease. lol
Only time they got to a final was when other teams were undercooked from the covid break and they blew their best ever chance to win the CL.
Pochettino changed formation FIVE times in a 1-1 draw against the mighty Rennes at the weekend, he hasn't got a clue how to work the team into a cohesive unit when the front free don't even press or track back, no wonder he wants out asap.
They'll get mullered by Bayern or the English teams in the knockouts, those teams hit their optimum fitness levels those times, while PSG are playing championship/league 2 teams week in and week out, France has only won 1 European Cup in history, the league is of a awful standard, the only good thing about the league is it's great for development for young players.
After watching the Italian league leaders Milan, twice recently, I’d rather they avoided the dreadful Italian sides.
We’d have beaten them easily.
PSG preferably, worst case scenario….Vilareal.
