My girlfriend who knows nothing about football was doing better analysis, after I pointed out at how inane he is. All she basically did for a minute was say 'he kicked it', 'he has kicked it', 'that guy has now kicked it'.

How is he still employed? My only guess is that the BBC have some kind of game/bet to see how basic he can get with his 'analysis'.
