That is a genuinely bizarre article.
Firstly, I imagine it is commonplace to make the pitch suitable to your style of play. Secondly, City actually pass the ball rather than the RS who hoof it so it would have benefitted the RS. Finally, the pitch would have changed anyway between then and now. He's talking about a game in January 2019. I reckon they have cut it a few times since then. Maybe it's because the kopite ground staff are back on furlough.

I was in Bicester earlier visiting family (you wouldn’t go there otherwise) and I’ve come to the conclusion that their entire UK fanbase resides there.
