ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

“I know it’s now a big story, I don’t like it any more to be honest. He wasn’t the only one,” he told BT Sport after the game.

“When we need Naby in the game, he’s really a part of playing football and stuff like this.

“It was tactical, but I could have done a few more changes in that moment. Thank god I didn’t, but it’s just that
.”

If he didn't want a big story he shouldn't have subbed him with 3 minutes to go to HT and then left him on the bench second half saying he was injured.

I get the feeling this feller has lost the dressing room.

He's just an attention seeking twunt

trying to turn some of the headlines away from how gash libberpewl are into a big psychodrama about the mystery of jurgen and keita

In a statement, Liverpool condemned the abuse as "utterly unacceptable".

"Once again we are sadly discussing abhorrent racial abuse the morning after a football game," they said after Tuesday night's Champions League quarter-final first leg defeat by Real Madrid. As a club, we will offer our players any and all support that they may require. The current situation cannot be allowed to continue and it is incumbent on all of us to ensure it does not."

To be fair, this is a widespread practice now that needs to be stamped out. Football clubs, players and celebrities should threaten to boycott twitter/instagram etc until some action is taken.
I agree. No player, no matter what team should face abuse borne from racism or any kind of prejudice. All football clubs and players could certainly make a combined stand against together to clear racist abuse from social media.

They would be stupid to bring him in for second leg, their system last night with the pace either side of benzema guarantees them a goal in the second leg as Liverpool chase the game.

Stick to the plan

Yeah, both players did really well tracking the full backs up and down and causing them problems. I don’t think Hazard has the fitness or discipline for that these days. I’d be amazed if Zidane plays him.

Liverpool will press them up the pitch a lot more 2nd leg.

Zidane will know that. They'll have to play through them, and Hazard can destroy them between the lines.

I agree with your first line, but the outcome will be exploit with pace again it wont be between the lines, it will be behind the defence quickly & that guarantees goals for RM

Liverpool's back 4 will be on their own 18 yard box most of that 2nd leg. Pace will be less of an issue. That could change if Madrid get the first goal and they simply have to push up as a unit.

TBH, whatever way Madrid play and whoever they pick they will win with. They are the vastly superior team.

I’ll be amazed if they go out to Madrid. They just don’t have a bad season. No matter how rubbish they are, they always come up smelling of roses. Disappointment for that lot is not winning finals or getting edged out of a title race, it doesn’t get much worse than that for them ever. I’d still put a lot of money on them finishing 4th and making the final. The type of week everyone else has where a whole season unravels just doesn’t happen to them ever.

Go and do it then. You can get odds of 11/4 on them getting through this tie and 14/1 for them to win the competition. Go and whack a fat stack on it.

You sound somewhat in fear of your red chums to be honest. Why let them treat you like a "This means More" doormat ? Perhaps you could benefit from self awareness sessions to get to the root of the problem. Always bear in mind that theyre idiots... Ha, look at the RS imposters who attempt to secrete themselves on here to excite and boast to their "hands down trackies" 40 year old teenager mates. Then fail to keep it up.... The same M.O.....Each time.
He's got RS mates.. nuff said.

While the rest of us have been locked down, hunkering in our homes for the past 12 months he's an accomplished bedroom occupant spending his entire life in his room with the nylon YMCA flag on the wall behind him.
Do you reckon he's got one of those four poster beds like that one shown yesterday for sale.
