Exactly. We dont wear rose tinted glsses about our clubs inadequacies on and off the pitch. Christ Almighty, the forum rips them to bits often enough. It was our zenith..swinging on the top of our "perch".. and through no fault of our own, we were denied the opportunity to advance on Europe because of the abomination of Heysel. Everyone acknowledges that.. er well nearly.

Please explain what positives bringing up Heysel has ever produced for Everton Football Club. None whatsoever. It is just an excuse for when we fail. It is just a weapon to use against the rs. It is so counter productive it is untrue.

If we were winning trophies and they were struggling it wouldn't be brought up. So why don't we just let it go and get back to being the best Football Club we can be and forget them. At the end of this season it will be 35 years since Heysel. How many generations do we carry this on for.

They win things we bring up Heysel. Why don't we look forward and look at what we can achieve and not what some of their scum bag fans did decades ago.

If I recall correctly it was one extra season. When they then qualified for Europe the BBC followed them live in every round and actually called the programmes 'Liverpool in Europe'. No wonder they don't think that they did anything wrong.

Tonight they take on Kuusysi Lahti of Finland in a UEFA Cup first round tie. It was actually 7 points as city had a game in hand at 10 like. City had to break every record going just to scrape it in the end, that’s what they are up against, deffo rational thought is wait and see, there’s far more of the season to play then it was last season, RS have also a nightmare fixture pile up in Dec, hence fingers crossed the gobshites falter enough at some point there.

What an absolute Kop out of a reply. And yes, I use that term deliberately.

Liverpool FC should never be allowed to forget the fact that their supporters killed people at a football match. Especially their current generation of fans, who if people like you had their way, would have had the entire episode wiped from the history books as if it never happened.

Whether they win things or not is immaterial. The claim that the incident is only brought up when they win things is utterly incorrect and contemptible.
