Correct. It's a tough habit to get out of too.The thing is mate, that they’ll blame their season going down the bog on his injury and obvs Pickford and thus us.
Only since 18th Feb when they played Atletico away, in all comps their record is as follows;
Played 23
Won 11
Drawn 3
Lost 9
Goals scored 47
Goals against 39
So the rot set in back in Feb, as they got sussed out, and their results and form since has been distinctly average. They really hate these stats being pointed out btw, but the reality is, that side has already peaked, sides have figured them out and teams have been consistently picking holes in them for 8 months.
I was reading earlier that Liverpool have won only 40% of their games without Van Dijk in the team.
Even if that shoots up to an unlikely 60% they'll struggle to win anything this season.

I was going to say has Hillsborough been mentioned yet, but my god to belittle it like that. They just couldn't possibly get any worse could they and then you see stuff like that, even kopites must hate kopites
Good old uncle Tarby. Everybody's favourite scouser.Found this on a Facebook site, about a famous RS supporter...
When Jimmy Tarbuck robbed Terry Thomas
In January 1960 Terry Thomas’s carefully nurtured fame was at its height. He was appearing in a midnight charity event at the Odeon Theatre in Liverpool. After coming off stage and getting back to his dressing room he quickly realised that his expensive custom-made cigarette holder was missing. It wasn’t just any old cigarette holder this one; it was particularly ostentatious and decorated with 42 diamonds and a gold spiral band. It was insured for £2000.
The Liverpool police didn’t take long to track down two of the diamonds, finding them at the home of a local unemployed salesman, small-time variety artist and well-known ‘fence’ called Alan David Williams. The other 40 diamonds were found inside a roll of carpet at the Queen’s Drive home of an equally small-time variety artist, the 20 year old unemployed comedian called James Joseph Tarbuck.
Alan Williams was charged with being an accessory after the fact, Tarbuck with theft and they were both committed for trial at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court in April 1960.
Both men pleaded guilty and James Tarbuck was put on probation for two years while Williams was given a 12-month conditional discharge. Terry Thomas was angered by the court case especially after being continually accused, by the defence barrister, Mr Harry Livermore, of inflating the value of the cigarette holder for publicity reasons.
Hasn't she got some ironing to do...
It's a good job you're not a Liverpool fan. That reasoning and logic would get you a straight up lifetime ban on RAWK lolEven by Liverpool and Media standards, the fallout from this has been unreal.
Was it John Cross in the Mirror using an ex ref to hammer home comparisons to Pickford and Keane on Alf-Inge Håland? I mean seriously?
You could argue football and Sport in general shouldn't even be going ahead as thousands of people die and suffer at the hands of a Global Pandemic. Yet since roughly 2.30pm on Saturday 'footballing people' have been calling for lengthy bans and shedding tears over a man who has suffered a bad injury, a bad injury he will recover from with expert Doctors and Sports Scientists. Were is the perspective? We all lose our temper in a Derby and reel for a few hours after. But to go on the rampage we've seen (when more than ever Football is merely a nice distraction) is just incredibly sad.
I don't care about whether it sounds bitter & twisted or not but had this been the other way round and our Centre Half, say Keane, was on the end of a reckless challenge by Adrian there is absolutely no way we'd have seen the same furore. I mean categorically no way. Did anyone see Dunk's challenge on Gary Cahill on Saturday after our game? If he had caused an ACL on Cahill would we have seen this much coverage? Na.
The standard of journalism in this country (particularly the red tops) is at an all time low, some of the headlines and stories since Saturday have been purely insidious. I find these snide journos on Twitter are the worst, they just stir hatred and ignite issues. I get why they do it, click bait to create more traffic towards themselves or there Newspapers. It's just pathetic though.
It was a bad, rash challenge by Pickford. I'd be equally fuming if the other way round but once the 5/6pm came round I'd sit down with my family and forget about it and move on. The lack of reality and perspective in some people is staggering.
Wow that is pretty hysterical by any standard.
