Gerard Deulofeu horror injury prompts classy gesture from Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk

Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk stayed by the side on Gerard Deulofeu to console him after th Watford star suffered a horror injury. As the Dutchman challenged the former Everton winger, his knee jolted in the ground as he suffered as a suspected dislocation. Deulofeu was clearly in a lot of pain and the reaction of the Liverpool players suggested it was serious.


Dejan Lovren put his hands behind his head, while the Watford star clutched his knee. lol

The Spaniard was evidently in a lot of pain as the players urged medical staff to hurry up onto the field.

Replays showed did not make for pleasant viewing as attention turned towards helping the injured man.

Van Dijk was keen to stand by Deulofeu while he received medical attention and appeared to express his sorrow. lol
