ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Like it or not, they're not just a big club, they're a massive club.... They own the media, they have a huge worldwide fanbase because people are mostly sheep wanting to be part of something, so they put on a Liverpool shirt and think other sheep will like them...or their old man was a Liverpool fan because he was a glory hunter as a kid... Most Liverpool fans don't even watch them regularly, but when there's a sniff of a trophy they come out from under that rock wearing the newest kit and whatever other merch they see...

No matter what Man City do over the next few years, they'll never get near Liverpool as a club.... They could win 10 Premier leagues in a row, but the one Liverpool then finally win will be a bigger deal in the media (and so the world) because Liverpool have the fanbase (and everyone can make money off it)

I never said they weren't a massive club - massive in the football market place, that is. I said they aren't a club that's been an elite one for a very long time...and two trophies that any elite club would want in 30 years underlines that they remain a club off the elite.

Selling millions of keyrings and duvet covers to gullible people does not make them a dominant force. They aren't and they'll find it hard getting there again. It involves - for a kick off - winning your own title MULTIPLE TIMES over a defined period. They aren't there.

Horrible wretch, like an Adams family noncey uncle.

BTW: these banners in house windows and flags still trailing from car ariels: I remember last year when they got beat the lot of them had come down about half an hour after the final whistle.

Phoney gets.
There has been even more flags and banners after the win. It’s like those who never put up a flag have gone out and bought them. Facebook is full of people who have never had any interest in that club coming out the woodwork pretending to be a fan. If you asked them they could probably not even tell you the final score or who scored. Fakes the lot of them.

I was reading a news report on fan arrests in Madrid over the weekend this could only have been a kopite....

The most serious incident was that of a fan who was filmed naked, perched on the railings in Puerta del Sol, masturbating in public. He allegedly assaulted an Italian tourist, attempting to place his hand up her skirt and then when she resisted, he knocked her to the ground.

They're goading us. It's like when England fans put up loads of St George flags to get on the nerves of their Muslim neighbours.

Geez! What next?!?
If I had to choose between a paving to the head or getting spunked on, I think I would rather take the slab.

Spot on Dave, they were down when when Real got the third goal last year I think. Funnily enough, picked the wife up from work drove past one of the neighbours and the whopper has put another flagpole up, this morning !
