@Steve0 they are posts of you including the Coutinho fee in their £465 million turnover.

I and a few others explained to you that Turnover total was Tv, Matchday and Commercial.

Easy to do with the search bar and using certain words in finding said posts.

Anyway i already explained to someone in a post a few pages away that transfer fees are seperate from the turnover tally, as fees are amortisised over a set period of the said contracts and classed in another part of the balance sheet.

Transfer sales arent amortised. What does that even mean? They're recognised immediately.

Another simple concept you seem to massively struggle with. Not judging you for it, just saying.

I never said anyone defended him. Why on earth would they? I said the tit for tat nonsense is boring and there are dickheads on both sides. “Murderers”, “Everton wives run for your lives” - is the antithesis of how things were when I was a kid, and I for one think it is frigging rubbish.

The whole Liverpool CL run has been great: an utter mess in the group stages followed by easy KO rounds with zero general interest in them, and now they face an arse kicking from the best team left in the competition by a country mile.

Laymen terms @Steve0 as an example.

The whole transfer fee is spread over the length of the contract and amortization is made yearly. To give an example a player is bought for 50 million pounds over a five year contract, the transfer value is amortized for 10 million pounds every year.

You'll find that clubs do that Steven, it balances the books better and plan better financially knowing you're getting or buying a steady set amount every year from amortization of tranfer fees.
