ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

The interesting thing about yesterday is that Chelsea and Spurs no longer need to win at Anfield now, a draw in both games will be enough so long as City at least draw in their coinciding fixtures

With a draw maybe being enough to ensure either of those two sides secure a place in the top 4, we could see both of them settling for points at Anfield

The United game and the game with us have totally changed the complexion of the title race now. It's going to be a nail biting conclusion

I can see Chelsea winning there. They have a midfield that trumps Liverpool's by about a thousand per cent and goal threats.

I wish they weren’t involved to be honest because I think if it wasn’t them it’d be really exciting , having something invested because it’s them I can’t enjoy it well not until they’re out of it .

Haha... just head over to RAWK and that cringeworthy Klopp hasn't won the Greek league thread...... the irony is startling. They call us bitters???

Just had a read of the final page of their thread, and despite numerous videos posted online of them blatantly point scoring over Heysel, a number of them are reassuring themselves how they're faultless.

"They can't mean the Allez Allez Allez chant"

Followed by a few comments discussing that chant lol

there ignorance is amazing isn't it

literally amazing, have flags re Bucharest, videos going around of them singing it Bucharest, and some tosser fan miming pushing walls and they act like they haven't done anything

whilst it's obviously only a select few blurts doing it and not the whole fanbase the fact they don't even acknowledge it is why they are special

Off work today just been browsing Bluemoon and the North Korean forum RAWK found this beauty on there

We didnt win the game because Salah messed up our big chances, bury one and we win. Everton came with nothing reallly. They were allowed to play overly aggressive and commit fouls all over the place and the ref gave almost all 50-50 situations to them and even still we should have won by a few goals. Everton is a pathetic team and so are their fans. They are slowly creeping towards relegation, its getting closer each year. But they can live on this, a draw at home and maybe help City to the title, kudos.

We just have to keep playing and fighting to win games, we are one point behind with 9 games to go, hardly a [Poor language removed] position. Yes, we could be better off but this was never going to be a stroll in the park. Would you have taken the situation at the beginning of the season? I think so. Teams got a week to prepare for next game, lets win that.

As for substitutions today, yeah we could probably have gone with Keita or Shaq, maybe both. But this game was a fight, a scrappy game and so far neither Keita or Shaq has looked like digging in and fighting it out. So I get Klopps idea, and it almost worked. But probabaly it would have made more sense to put Keita or Shaq in rather than Lallana.

But if Salah would have been in proper form then we would all be celebrating a win. He looled really sharp against Watford, hopefully it will be more of that come the next games.

Come on Liverpool!! YNWA!!!
We're 10th, 12 points above the drop zone. Such relegation, wow.

It’s so dependent on form. If Chelsea and Spurs turn up in decent form then for Liverpool to win both would be a huge task and if Liverpool were in poor form themselves they could easily drop points in both. If it’s the other way round though and the Spurs of last week or the Chelsea of the week before turn up at Anfield they could both get mauled for 4 or 5.

Just heard Danny Murphy on Talksh1te saying that everyone wants Liverpool to win the league not City.........his reason why????
Most fans will relate to the fact that Liverpool haven't spent an absolute fortune in buying the league!!!!!!

Danny Murphy FFS. There's a fella whose so out of touch with reality. How many supporters do the likes of him speak to? Reminds me of your typical politician who hasn't got a clue about the country they represent.
