ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

I don’t think they will win the Champions League this year and wouldn’t be surprised if Bayern Munch knocked them out. However, I won’t lose any sleep if they do go on to win it.
To be honest, I haven’t watched a Champions League final since the late 90’s. It’s a competition that doesn’t interest me and won’t until such times that we are participating in it.

To be fair, the reds I know are more than happy to stay at Anfield and never wanted a new stadium. Let’s be honest, it is a world famous football stadium.

thought they had a new stadium, you know the one they put forward for englands 2018 world cup bid, fancy telling the fans they will have a new stadium only to put a loft extension on the existing one, built for more half and half ipad holding whoppers.

And if they don't win this year, they have both Manc clubs ahead of them next year.

I said to an ex-boss (red) about 10 years ago that we had as good a chance of winning the league because they were so far behind that I couldn't see them winning ever. Get over this season, with City doing the business and I think their team starts to break up. If I were one of Firminho, Mane or Salah, I'd be looking for silverware over in Spain, Italy or PSG. I still stand by what I said to my boss all those years ago.

Hope they smash Bayern. The more fixtures the better.

Not for me.

I want them beaten and out of Europe ASAP.

They are a club which thrives on momentum.....look at the shot in the arm Pickford gave them.

Then City beat them and within a couple weeks they were out the F.A. Cup and off the top of the table.

Failing to win tonight then defeat at OT on Sunday would be a big blow to their morale as we get toward the business end of the season,

Come on F.C. Hollywood :)

Absolutely this .

It’s like people don’t learn there lessons with them , let’s have them lose and then again at the weekend and obviously again and again.

Making it a bit obvious mate

Only Phil Thompson could come out and talk about Liverpool launching another dynsasty of dominance when they haven’t won the thing in close to 30 years. The arrogance of that generation really is astonishing. That’s before you even get to their complete hypocrisy talking about the money clubs when they’ve broken two world record fees in one window and broken the record for money spent on transfers in one calendar year. Poor little Liverpool indeed. Bunch of senseless whoppers.
I saw the interview with big nose last night, thought it was hilarious, thing is they actually believe it, believe they've spent nothing trying to win a single premier league title for donkeys years, believe they are feared and have a dynasty lined up. Never fail to embarrass themselves.
I watched Man U last night, I was impressed. The RS wont beat them on Sunday It'll end up like last year when they had their excuses lined up before a ball was kicked. They may get a point although I doubt that. Man U look a real good team now. We need to sweat blood and do our bit at Goodison although I'm more sceptical about that.
