ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Klopp sounding the dog whistle.

Bayern should rent an armour plated coach tonight.
Have you seen the Bayern fan's plan for this evening? They've binned the usually organised and constrained march (by MerPol) off up the Vale towards Analfield.

Instead, they're planning on getting the train to Kirkdale and going to a few blue alehouses along the way, namely the Elm, Leigh Arms, Oak and some others.

Let's just say, there's some very interesting conversations currently going on regarding how this will eventually pan out.

Bayern are exactly the type of team, in their current state, to absolutely kack their pants at the sight of the flare-waving, full kit-wearing knob heads that will line the streets tonight. Going for a mauling of them by Liverpool, similar to Spurs' victory over Dortmund. Would be completely gobsmacked if it's not something like three or four nil.

The only thing going in favour for Bayern is the RS being depleted at the back, no Van Dijk, Gomez, and Lovren is touch and go whether he makes it.
And with them injuries it would lead to a centre back partnership of Matip and Fabinho, which I think Lewandowski would fancy himself against and will also weaken their midfield as Fabinho is the only one capable of doing a proper screening job.

I don’t think they will win the Champions League this year and wouldn’t be surprised if Bayern Munch knocked them out. However, I won’t lose any sleep if they do go on to win it.
To be honest, I haven’t watched a Champions League final since the late 90’s. It’s a competition that doesn’t interest me and won’t until such times that we are participating in it.
I got up with my son to watch this years final (thank god it ended well), before that the last final I saw live on tv was probably 99. Havent even seen a single CL game for about 10 years.
I really dont understand how ratings are so high, I really cant be bothered watching it anymore. I know I would watch if it was Everton, but every other game is just a reepeat of a fixture from the previous year and will be the same fixture next year.

It has lost the magic

Firmino is out as well apparently, illness / hangover.

It has lost the magic

It lost it's magic when it became the Champions league (How can it be called the CHAMPIONS league when you can finish 4th in the league, and win it) when it was the European cup you had to win your league to qualify (or be defending European cup winners) there was none of this engineered crap like there is in the champions league to make sure all the 'top' teams get through the group stages, it was a straight forward knockout competition, and all the teams were picked straight from the hat, so the top teams could meet each other from the off, winning it back then just seemed to have more prestige than it does now. The champions league now for me seems to be a case of (for the clubs hierarchy) "Yaaaay, we've won it, how much did we make?"

As you walk around town it’s the Same today as every big European game probably as many if not more foreign fans in Liverpool scarfs as the away team wandering about taking photos of landmarks and needing directions from locals or signposts. Doesn’t matter how many times I see it’s absolutely bizarre .
Send the feckers in the direction of Garston lol

Well Dortmund are above Bayern so wouldn't be a surprise.

Their makeshift defence is a cause for optimism though, plus the fact Keita and Fabinho will be playing.
