It's not Clarke Kent.lol

It's George Costanza from Seinfeld.

Not even sure what your point is, but a new stadium can propel a team for years. A good season conning second, what does that do? What did it do for the RS last time? Oh yeah, their best players wanted to leave.

Well when it comes to their fans they have absolutely nothing to be jealous about When it comes to us. To state otherwise is just pure delusion.

The RS have just posted record profits
The could possibly win the league and CL
They have expanded their ground
Have invested in the team the right way
Have a world class manager

It pains me to state the above but it is what it is. We are miles behind them both on and off the pitch.

I think some of our fans need to come back down to earth and take a dose of reality.

You can take the piss out of the RS "Loft conversion" all you want the fact is it's making them a ton of money where as we haven't even got any officials plans for BMD yet.

They're knobheads though and we aren't mate so yeah they'll always be envious knowing that we know that they know like everyone knows they are a gang of knobheads

The bitter lemon doesnt have any point mate. Don't worry though, once they've imploded like they do he'll be gone for a few months and then crawl back on once they've snotted Bournemouth 5-0 first game of next season.

Posters like him are why I don't come on here much anymore. I have them on ignore anyway, but I only want to talk to actual blues, and yet that saddo is still on here.

Nah it's all good mate. Take it on the chin for 9 months of the year safe in the knowledge for about 3 months once the season is finished we'll be pissing ourselves laughing over them.

If the roles were reversed and they were doing what we’re doing, and planning to do, in the city centre I would be absolutely gutted.

I agree with sentiments about who’s currently doing best on the pitch. This is all about securing our long term future and securing our place in the city centre.

Teams come and go.
The roles were reversed with murals, the rs campaigned to have ours taken down and the council ceded. Add to that ours wa put up to recognise the work eitc had done and was of Southall who has achieved far more than klopp on Merseyside. The fanbases are not comparable, they are actually right in their claim that their fanbase isn't comparable to anything in sport, they are much more like a satanic horde in an hammer horror movie

I think they all got used as extras in the Wicker man film mate.

You were called on it twice by 2 other posters on that line i highlighted.

"A new stadium is a much bigger deal than who's having a better season than the other. "

That's like saying Lyon move into a new stadium for 16/17 right after the euro championships in France and they had better season than PSG who just won a domestic treble at the end of that season because you think having a new stadium trumps everything that happens on a pitch during a season.

That's why i used the classic George Costanza gif because it was very apt for that line.

Christ Liverpool have won the treble , this season is going worse than i thought .

Lets be honest, it's not 'a new stadium' per se that they are fuming about. What is really boiling their urine is the location of said stadium.
They may in the future throw billions at creating the biggest, most state of the art stadium. . . . . . BUT, they will always be stuck out in the suburbs.
They resent the fact that we are the city's original team, they hate sharing the city. They are gutted that the vast majority of visitors to Liverpool (day trippers, city breaks etc) will never see Anfield but will most certainly be seeing the new Everton stadium. This is also why buying into the Liver building was a masterstroke by Moshiri.
The city is ours ;)

To be fair, the reds I know are more than happy to stay at Anfield and never wanted a new stadium. Let’s be honest, it is a world famous football stadium.

What else are they going to say? For any Evertonian who doubts that they are fuming at the prospect of our city centre presence, ask yourself this. . . . . . How p**sed would you be if every time you went into town shopping or for a pint you could see THEIR new ground with THEIR name dominating? If every time you saw a picture of the Liverpool skyline taken from the river you could see THEIR new ground?
They may say what they like I'm telling you, inside they are absolutely gutted.
