I shouldn't really get into this stuff because I feel so strongly about it, and I know the majority of them are not bad people....even if they are entitled freaks with zero class or rationality where footy is concerned.
It's the lack of recognition about the horror show they inflicted on the world that night in Belgium that sticks in my craw. It's completely unacceptable to me that the same people who (rightly) spoke up for justice over Hillsborough have never shown any respect or concern for the injustice of Heysel being swept under the carpet by the British media they've lobbied in their own campaigns. It's the ultimate hypocrisy. I'll never forgive what's happened over this, never. Regardless of the football rivalry, we have a civic organisation in this city with an historic act of mass killings on its hands and it's failed to acknowledge that and deal with it, beyond a few poxy scraps of official text and a disgracefully inadequate "memorial plaque".
I despise them.
That tit Peter Hooton said everything you need to know about the mentality of RS fans "The stadium was not fit for purpose. As a Liverpool fan I don't feel any culpability whatsoever"
