ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

To be fair they know that was a big step for City. They have practically sewn up the goal difference, and maintained top spot having played harder games, particularly Chelsea who are one of the better sides left for either to play (probably the 3rd hardest fixture left).

City are gaining enormous momentum at a time when sides usually begins to slow down. It must be pretty depressing viewing for Liverpool fans.

The irony is they defeated a side they were always going too and looked decent (though the best they've been in about 6 weeks) yet have still had an awful week really, as both Spurs and City came through harder challenges.

City wages are not £263 million lol.

They got the help of a Tory Donor who has a banking links in tax free Cayman Islands.

They divert a percentage of the players wages to another Company House based there to bring the wages/turnover % down in the turnover results.

That was in the Die Speigel expose, that scam has been going on even before they got caught by UEFA for FFP violations.

Hi there, perhaps you should change your username to stop these confusion between my identity and yours. Thanks.

as both Spurs and City came through harder challenges.

I don't think it will make much difference as City have shown they're capable of getting beat home or away by teams in the bottom half. They generally step up in the big games. The banana skins for City this season have been the ones where they're expected to turn up and win. Newcastle, Wolves, Palace, Leicester. In that respect, would it really surprise anyone if City lost at home to West Ham or away to Bournemouth in their next fixtures?

For Liverpool, it's generally been the reverse. They are beating the teams you'd expect them to and have dropped points in the games you might "expect" them to have trouble in. City, Chelsea and Arsenal, draws or defeats surprise nobody. Even Leicester and West Ham are no mean feats these days. It will be interesting to see how they fare against United, Chelsea, us and Spurs, bearing all that in mind, and see if they can keep up their good run against teams in the bottom half.
