A man was tested for Ebola in Britain this week but the result was negative. The Department of Health said he was checked in Birmingham after he reportedly travelled from Benin to Nigeria via Paris to the Midlands.

Another man contacted Charing Cross hospital in London over fears he had the virus, but doctors ruled it out.

That guy is loving the end of the world. His website is actually called 'storm clouds gathering'.

There have been people in power with exactly the same love fof the apocalypse, Bush and Blair come to mind instantly, difference is they set about creating it.....

A team-mate of an African cyclist tested for Ebola is believed to have absconded from the Commonwealth Games in Scotland.

Mohamed Tholley, 25, the Sierra Leone mountain bike champion, was today reported to be missing from the athletes’ village after failing to turn up for the cycling time trial yesterday.

His disappearance follows his cycling captain Moses Sesay being taken to hospital for four days after falling ill on arrival in Glasgow.

Sesay was found not to be suffering from the deadly virus, which has so far killed more than 700 people in west Africa.

Tholley’s key was said to have been found in his room as his disappearance was linked to fears over the virus.

fears over the virus.

This guy is in a ditch somewhere bleeding from the eyes.

Common fate for bicyclists.

He said the day before that he didn't want to return back to Sierra Leone because he feared for his life if he returned.

He hasn't got ebola, he just doesn't want to get it so has done a runner. Don't panic lids.

By the way, it is transmittable by air I believe. The missus has a thing for infectious diseases, and she's amazed at how relaxed everyone seems to be about it all. But then she has been in a grump this week so she may just be hoping everyone dies.

Apparently requires direct contact with bodily fluids.

Here's one to watch GOTers - surviving men can transmit via semen for 7 weeks after recovery.
