It's the lack of pace, width and drive that is the most concerning. This needs to be addressed by Koeman urgently. He has players to address some of these issues but seems intent not to utilise them. While accepting we've had a difficult set of fixtures and need to give the new players time to bed in, an equally negative approach in the allegedly 'easier' games to follow will increase the pressure on Koeman. He doesn't appear to be remotely bothered, which doesn't exactly inspire at the moment.

Time is needed here and patience. Look at spurs when they replaced bale with a load of new players. They are pretty good now right? Yes it will take a bit of time but it will happen.

Calls to sack koeman are ludicrous. Who exactly would we get to replace him?? Do we really want to turn into one of these teams who sack a manager or two a season?!?
Only problem with your comparison is that Spurs had to sack their manager before they got as good as they are now.

He's been a director for one year and was employed for long term strategy (youth acquisition and development, high yield transfers) of which he's just one year into. This is in one of the most well funded and competitive industries around. His CV and past (and relative) experience suggest he's qualified for the job. In his first year the team moved up four places in the league and the U23s won the league v competitors that vastly outspent Everton.

And here we are scrutinising, overly, barely after the end of that first year?

As customers, not board members, not significant shareholders. Is our self entitlement and narcissism that grand and our self awareness that low?

Patience is a virtue in business which you understand as good as anyone on here.

I'm not suggesting he's doing a good or bad job, merely that he hasn't really been public in the kind of job he's trying to do. We've had Moshiri pop up for a few cuddly chats with Jim White, but that's about it from the senior management at the club. I'm sure they're experienced enough in this business to know that if you create a vacuum, fans and the media will create their own guff to fill it.

This team is just making me sad. You are really starting to see the narcissistic side of Koeman with the way he forces players into the lineup and foregoes balance just to feed his ego. I'd like to think that Koeman learns from his mistakes, but a lot of the good changes he made during his reign came from him being forced into the changes rather than by his own free will. The politics involved with these new signings may be the death of him.

Things are far from perfect and in fact on Saturday we looked like a pub team that's just met! However rationale thinking needs to be employed by the fan base! I know that may be alot to ask and I have to admit I'm struggling with it myself but we have signed almost a whole new starting 11. If I were to state one significant area of concern then it would be Ashley Williams looks petrified of anyone with pace getting far to tight to kane on staurday! But let's keep the faith and the support!

And Koeman is forgoing balance and chemistry to play all of them.

It takes a while to fit one player into a team never mind seven of them.

I think the manager needs to go back to a more basic structure and introduce the new signings a little more slowly.

He's either good enough to get us into the top six/four or he isn't. If we think he is then give him the rest of his contract. If not then to quote the bard "If it were done when 'tis done, then 'twere well it were done quickly"
Personally I don't think he's good enough.
