EA Screwing Everton AGAIN!

This may be FIFA 14 a game u think, yes it is but most people play it. Its good for the clubs exposure globally and for the players. A lot of the statistics for live matches are recorded by FIFA now too. This is a vid by a fellow blue showing the official ratings for our players in the new game. As some of you may already know Leighton Baines isnt even better than Ashley Cole (Coles rating for passing is better too :blink on it as always, Coleman has been downgraded to ****, Ross Barkleys not too impressive either. And just for the record Lucas Leiva is rated 81 better than every single Everton player bar Baines to put things into perspective! Damn you EA kopites!

I can see his point though mate, it's tiresome that a team with a partnership deal with Fifa can't even get their players rated properly. That said i'm with you on battering people with Everton, i played around 50 online games on Fifa 12 and picked Everton every time save for 1 or 2 games, won/lost is more or less 50/50 but it's ten times better scoring a rocket with Anichebe after ripping a defence to pieces then what it would be using messi and barca for example.

To your larger point though, I know for a fact that many Americans who never followed football before have been turned on to the game by playing FIFA. They play it, and find they like it so they start looking into European football. So the OP has a point.

I'm on an American sports message board as well, and there were many threads started this summer by guys looking for teams to support and asking for some direction.

I always go the blues, but its more about the point of exposure like the fella says up above about first time gamers looking for a team to support in England etc...
