For those who are looking to the Burnley game to save him, look at it this way: They just got a draw today at Stamford Bridge. Their next match is home vs. Wolves, while ours is away to Newcastle. If either of us gets anything out of those two fixtures, it's more likely to be them.

And then there's the possibility of another points deduction this week. Which means that by the time we play them, they could already be even with us in the table or probably more likely not far behind. Meaning, if we did lose to them, even Burnley(!!!) could be ahead of us after matchweek 32. When everyone on the planet had basically already written them off.

So you're gambling everything on that one match to save Dyche and the season. Given that context, and a historically bad winless run on our part, why would you be confident in that gamble?

Any ideas on stats for games for us last 15 minutes since new year.

We seem to get to half way through the second half then either concede and try everything all at once, or get a footing in the game and suddenly switch off and concede loads of late goals.

There's a pattern.

we’re done mate. we’re down

And like someone said about the financial side of things - of course it would be expensive to make a change, and of course it's an expense we really, really don't need right now, but in the final calculation - surely it still has to be considered cheaper than getting relegated?

I dont know what "lost the dressing room" means but he's 100% lost the dressing room. Slapping Patterson's head probably didn't help.

The players are crap but these clueless, rudderless performances are all on him.

The time has come to sack him I'm afraid. The run we are on is historically bad and he doesn't seem able to turn it around. I don't think it will happen though. Moshiri has checked out, we can't afford to do it and who would come in to this situation?

It’s just always great how the situation becomes untenable immediately after a long break that a new manager could use to make improvements. If only someone could have seen the need to fire Dyche coming. Who could have predicted this?

This is true. There's nobody at the club with the authority to sack him, even if we could afford it, which we probably can't. How much compensation have we paid to managers in the last ten years? It must be over £20M.
And all the players know this fact - hence the collective apathy they display every week.

F sakeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

now we all know he needs to go

he’s not lads him
and the points deductions are taking us down
I always said, I judge his work on 31 points not 25, but we are 12 games without a win.

Also I said, if we get points like in December, where we were at 19 games and 26 points, what's 52 points all season, what I would consider as good.

Style doesn't matter that much for me currently, but the results are on a level of a relegation team. That's the important point.
